Custom Printed Skins

What is a custom skin?

A custom skin is a skin printed with your own supplied image, logo, artwork or branding.

It means we custom print your design onto an existing skin product available in our store. It does not mean we can create a brand new skin template for an unsupported laptop or device from the model name alone.

Want something more personal than one of our ready-made designs? Custom printed skins are perfect for personal photos, business logos, school branding, illustrations, patterns, name labels or a design that is uniquely yours.

Our Design Your Own app is currently offline while it undergoes a major overhaul, so custom layouts are currently prepared manually by our team.

How to Order

Step 1
Purchase the skin you need from the correct device category, using any design within that category.

Step 2
Email us your image, logo or artwork within an hour after ordering. Replying to your order confirmation email is usually easiest. 

Step 3
We will email you an order completion request for the $5 custom print fee per print file.

Step 4
Once the custom fee has been paid, we will prepare your layout and email you a screenshot to approve before printing.

Your order will not be sent to production until the custom layout has been approved.

Image Quality

The quality of the finished print depends on the quality of the image supplied.

Small or low-resolution images may look blurry or pixelated when enlarged for printing. If we can see that your image is unlikely to print well, we will contact you before proceeding.

For best results, we recommend:

• .jpg or .png files at least 4000 x 3000 pixels
• vector files such as .ai, .eps or print-ready .pdf files for logos, text or business branding

Colour

Colours on screen may not print exactly the same.

Screens display colour in RGB, while our digital print process uses CMYK. Some colour variation is normal, so we cannot guarantee an exact match to the colours shown on your screen.

We also do not recommend using a single solid colour as your custom image, as slight colour differences are more noticeable across large flat areas.

PMS and spot colour matching is available for bulk quantity orders only.

Email Response Times

If you do not hear from us within 3-4 business hours of sending your custom image, please message us again to check that we received it.

We respond Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm, excluding public holidays.

Image Content

You must only supply images or artwork that you have the right to use.

We cannot print sexually explicit, pornographic, hateful, defamatory or discriminatory content. SkinWraps reserves the right to decline any image supplied for printing.
